We have a larger scale camp planned this year. We are teaming up with Lightning P Ranch and camp will be held at their covered arena in Resaca.
At this camp, the kids will learn pole bending, barrel racing, roping (each child gets their own rope to keep), and team penning. We will also have several demos by a blacksmith, vet, and equine dentist. There is a LOT planned for this camp and it will be a lot of fun.
Each child has a horse to care for for the week. They'll learn everything they can about owning a horse. The week will end with a "rodeo" and awards.
It is a Mon.-Fri. day camp, from 9am-5pm each day. 3rd and 4th week of June & 2nd and 3rd week of July. Cost is 400 for the week. Lunches and drinks are included. Please call if you have any questions. I can carpool a few kids from Dalton to Resaca each day.
